AFFS-RACK electrical and control cabinet extinguishing systems.
The AFFS-RACK-RE-CT-FK5-D extinguishing system for electrical and control cabinets is based on the NOVEC 1230 (FK-5-1-12) extinguishing agent and an operating pressure of 15 bar. The system offers a wide range of containers with quantities of extinguishing agent: 1kg; 2kg; 3kg; 4kg and 6kg. The system is a pre-engineering syetem and is LPCB certified.
The system allows some leakage, with sizes not exceeding in the LPCB certificate. Ventilation operation within a certain range is also permitted.
We offer the AFFS-RACK-RE-CTX-FK5-I extinguishing system for electrical and control cabinets, based on NOVEC 1230 (FK-5-1-12) extinguishing agent and 25 bar operating pressure. The system offers a wide range of containers with quantities of extinguishing agent: 1kg; 2kg; 4kg; 6kg; 9kg; 14kg; 18kg. The system is pre-engineered and UL certified.
Extinguishing systems do not require an external electrical supply and are based on a pressure control line. If control of ventilation shutdown is required, this can be done from pressure sensors.
The system requires sealed cabinets.
The AFFS-RACK-I automatic extinguishing system is the ideal solution for protecting electrical switchgear and control cabinets from fire. Features include simple design, speed and effectiveness before conventional fire systems take effect. The system can be installed directly on the electrical or control switchgear enclosure.
The AFFS-RACK system consists of three basic assemblies:

The extinguishing agent tank assembly is filled with carbon dioxide - CO2. The size of the container is selected individually to the quantity of extinguishing agent required (5kg or 10kg).
The container is equipped with a valve to which a detection line and a steel nozzle are connected.
The FireDetec detection line assembly provides a unique fire detection solution. The special design of the FireDeTec line allows for easy monitoring of surveillance areas. The detection line can be terminated with a manual knockout. If the temperature exceeds 100ºC, the detection line burns out, the pressure in the system falls, which causes the valve to open and the extinguishing agent to flow out through the steel nozzle into the fire area. The use of a pressure sensor allows information about the fire to be sent to higher-level systems, as well as triggering acoustic or acoustic-optical signalling on the cabinet. An additional option is the use of a control panel.
The control panel is designed to continuously monitor the amount of carbon dioxide in the tank. Thanks to the control panel, manual weighing of the tank during service checks is not required. In addition, the monitoring panel also has an alarm function. The control panel transmits alarm and fault signals to higher-level fire safety systems.
